A Calling from God

A year before it was established in 2021, the Lord placed this calling on Pastor Tiaan's heart. Everything changed when Pastor Gert gave the instruction to begin — from that moment, God opened doors and everything fell into place.

Our mission is to lead inmates to Jesus Christ, help them receive salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, disciple them through Foundation School, and raise strong believers who understand their identity in Christ.

Only the Holy Spirit can truly change a person's life.

Lives Being Transformed

One remarkable testimony tells of an inmate who received Christ while incarcerated at Pollsmoor. After his release, he attended church with his family, faithfully completed Foundation School, and became actively involved in serving.

Although he has since gone home to be with the Lord, his family continues to serve God faithfully today — a reminder that one encounter with Jesus can change an entire generation.

"Go to see people, not problems."

A life transformed through Prison Ministry

A Biblical Mandate

Prison ministry is deeply rooted in Scripture. Jesus declared, "He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives..." (Luke 4:18). The Bible also reminds us, "Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison" (Hebrews 13:3). Perhaps most profoundly, Jesus said, "I was in prison and you visited Me" (Matthew 25:36). Every prison visit is more than an outreach — it is an opportunity to serve Christ Himself.

Miracles That Glorify God

God continues to confirm His Word with signs and wonders — wounds healing and drying up, people healed of tuberculosis, kidney conditions restored, and the lame walking again. The ministry also distributes Healing to the Nations Magazine and Rhapsody of Realities, resources that inmates eagerly request because they have seen firsthand the power of God's Word.

Open Doors Through Prayer

Prison outreach comes with challenges, and restrictions from prison officials can limit access. Yet God continually demonstrates His faithfulness. On one occasion, after ministering to a single cell of 32 inmates, the team was unexpectedly told the outreach had to end. What appeared to be a closed door quickly became an opportunity orchestrated by God — access was granted to seven additional cells, then another section. By the end of the day, the Gospel had reached more than 500 inmates, and 431 people gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. When God opens a door, no one can shut it.

Lessons Learned Along the Journey

Serving in prison ministry has taught invaluable lessons: never judge people by their past, see every inmate through the eyes of Jesus, and understand that every person — regardless of status or circumstances — is precious to God. The greatest joy comes from witnessing inmates receive the Holy Spirit. Many former inmates have also successfully reintegrated into society and are now faithfully serving in church, proving that the Gospel truly transforms lives.

A Message to the Church

Prison ministry is not primarily about programs, sermons, or trying to fix people. It is about showing up consistently and reminding men and women that they are still seen, still loved, and never forgotten by God. When we enter those prisons, we carry two priceless gifts: Dignity — treating every inmate as a person created in the image of God, and Hope — the assurance that no past is too broken for God's redeeming power. Our responsibility is simple: be present, be faithful, and let God do the rest.
