Meet Our Pastor,
Pastor Gert Meyer

Affectionately pronounced “Pastor Heart” by our congregation, Pastor Gert Meyer leads Christ Embassy Cape Town Zone 1 with genuine compassion, infectious enthusiasm, and a profound commitment to God’s grace. As a devoted spiritual son of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome—whom he reverently looks to as his Father in the Lord. Renowned for his passion for souls, Pastor Gert champions outreach initiatives across Cape Town, from city‑wide evangelism drives to community upliftment projects. He models radical generosity, always giving sacrificially of his time, resources, and prayers. At home, he and his wife, Sister Rebeka, are raising their daughter Roberta in a warm, faith‑filled environment—extending the same love and welcome to every visitor at Christ Embassy Cape Town.
